Sudathip Sae-tan is interested in food and health. She is currently working at Hiroshima University in staff exchange program and her permanent work is at Department of Food Science and Technology, Faculty of Agro-Industry, Kasetsart University, Thailand. Her focus is on dietary food components to prevent non-communicable diseases especially obesity and diabetes. She has experiences in using chemical-based and cell-based assay including animal models to test the bioactivity. With all these assays, it allows her to find out the dietary components for disease prevention. Additionally, she also applies the bioactive ingredients in consumer products.
